Who is Beyond Form for?

Beyond Form is a writing platform (and read on if you don’t feel this is your habitat). It’s a space for people who: 

• want to play with form and at its edges

• are writing or wanting to write in promiscuous and dissident ways

• would like to be more embodied in their writing

• write within spiritual, somatic, art-life or political practices

• are working with nonhuman languages

• feel limited by disciplinary training or by meaning itself

• have to write in institutional systems that contradict their ways of life

• are translating across languages, scales, realities and borders 

• want to explore the uncertainties and erotics of writing

• are marginalized, excluded or harmed by capitalist, white supremacist,  cis-heteropatriarchal and/or ableist institutions and writing cultures

• want to be in community with other writers who share these experiences and sensibilities
