our pricing structure
Workshops and courses
The fees for our workshops and courses are on a sliding scale. We invite you to sit with the following options and choose the fee that is most appropriate for you.* Averaging £50 per person, per session will usually cover our costs, and we trust that sometimes those with greater financial privilege will help us support others who aren’t currently in the same position.
This system relies on your reflection about your current financial situation, geographical location, and historical relationship to the political distribution and redistribution of wealth. It also takes into account how much our educators need to earn a fair wage for their work, our administration costs, and what we need to fund people who have less access to wealth to participate in Beyond Form activities.
You can use this currency converter to translate the £ fee into the currency that you use.
Workshop costs
£30 per workshop for those from the global South, historically disenfranchised communities in the global North, low and working-class income families experiencing systemic disenfranchisement, or with little or no access to wealth beyond wages (capital, savings, investments, inheritance)
£50 per workshop for those from the global North who have themselves or have ancestrally benefitted from different kinds of wealth accumulation through white supremacy, inclusion in cis-heteropatriarchal economic structures, resource and wealth extraction, or access to capital, savings, investments or inheritance
£100 per workshop for anyone who has personally benefited from any of the above and is in a position to pay a higher fee that will be redirected to fund other participants who, for reasons of structural inequity, would otherwise be excluded from participating. If you are in this position, please also feel very free to donate to us! You’ll find a button on our homepage.
£0 per workshop for: Black, Indigenous and People of Color who have been, themselves and/or ancestrally, dispossessed by colonization, enslavement and genocide of their land, languages, forms of life and ways of knowing and writing. Anyone who does not currently have access to any means of financial livelihood, is precariously housed, seeking asylum, facing systemic discrimination or experiencing other severe economic or political hardships.
